About Our Organization
Pasadena Audubon Society is an affiliate of the National Audubon Society serving the communities of Alhambra, Altadena, Arcadia, Azusa, Duarte, El Monte, La Cañada, Monterey Park, Monrovia, Montrose, Pasadena, Rosemead, San Gabriel, San Marino, Sierra Madre, South Pasadena, and Temple City. Any member of NAS living in these communities is also a member of PAS.
Additionally, Pasadena Audubon Society has many chapter-only members. Anyone, no matter where they live can join as a chapter-only member. Many of our members are both National and chapter-only members. Click here to Join PAS .
Both types of members receive all the benefits of belonging to the Pasadena Audubon Society.
The City of Pasadena, the "Crown of the Valley" in the local Indian dialect, is located in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains. Nearby birding habitats include montane forest, oak woodland, chaparral, riparian woodland and coastal sage scrub.
