7:00 AM - early afternoon
Leader: Corey Husic
Join us as we explore the north side of the San Gabriel Mountains, home to a variety of unique habitats filled with interesting bird species. We will start on the edge of the Antelope Valley, work our way through the Valyermo area, and eventually end up above 7,000 ft. in the mountains! We will keep an eye out for high desert species, wintering raptors, and high-elevation specialties. This field trip will entail driving between spots, with some walking at many of our stops.
Trip limit: 20 participants.
