Growing up in Connecticut, Tricia spent countless hours identifying birds in her backyard, which abutted the Stewart B. McKinney National Wildlife Refuge. Later, as a practicing lawyer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she would visit Hawk Mountain Sanctuary during her free time to reconnect with nature and watch for raptors. She relocated to Los Angeles in 2015 and moved to the San Gabriel Valley in 2021, where she lives in South Pasadena with her husband, teenage son and two dogs. She is known by family and friends to insist on birding excursions wherever she travels, and has enjoyed the company and guidance of PAS members on numerous PAS field trips over the last few years.
Tricia is a graduate of Skidmore College (B.A.) in Saratoga Springs, New York, and Temple University Beasley School of Law (J.D.) in Philadelphia. She began her career as a commercial litigator in Philadelphia and transitioned to in-house counsel after relocating to Los Angeles. She has acted as both inside- and outside-general counsel and served on executive management teams as an operational leader for small- and mid-sized companies with a focus on managing risk, improving organizational efficiencies, and advancing management’s vision for growth. She is currently a partner in Axle Point Capital LLC, a private equity group focused on strategic investments in the lower middle market.
