Evellyn entered the conservation field in her late 20s and is well on her way to becoming a lifelong birder, thanks to the knowledge she has gained through her experiences with the Pasadena Audubon Society. With a background in educational program development, Evellyn brings a solid foundation to her role, enhancing the learning experiences of students at Washington Elementary STEM Magnet School. She enjoys hearing students share their experiences of the outdoors as they connect it to the changing environment of the native habitat garden.
When Evellyn is not soaking in the sun, she likes to spend time reading, painting, and cat-sitting.
