As part of the California Bird Atlas project's "Big Weekend", project founder and CEO Van Pierzalowski, joined by PhD candidate and veteran Bear Divide Bird Counter Kelsey Reckling, will lead participants around Hahamongna Watershed Park with the goal of documenting evidence of breeding birds. This is a great opportunity to learn about locating bird nests, determining that a bird is part of a breeding pair, and linking eBird observations to the California Bird Atlas.
Participant number: 20, determined by lottery. Sign up by 6pm on June 2nd.
